Tumblelog Backup Tool: This tool enables you to back up and save your tumblr blog into an html file/s. I don’t care if someone else might get a copy of the backup of my tumblr blog. What’s more important is the flexibility…
I have long embraced that T.G.I.F. is not applicable here. In UAE, working week starts on a sunday and ends on thursdays. During my first month here, I used to say, “see you on monday!”, instead of sunday. In a way it used to made me feel benefited to think that I [...]
Top 5 SEO Friendly CMS: One of the most important things that people consider when looking at content management systems (CMS) is their viability in the SEO market.
I wonder why WordPress is not included in the list.
As much as I try to be cool and do things graciously, I also have my ‘moments’ when I feel (even if I ignore) that there’s too much in my hands. I’ve re-read one particular chapter in The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari last night. To keep me sane for the moment.

I wanted to fly home when Eraserheads had a reunion concert last August 30. I wrote here how bewildered I was before, during, and after that one-night jam. Yesterday, I was informed by one of my closest friends (yes, the same person who is a fellow Twilighter, Bee Gees and Eraserheads fanatic. We’ve got much [...]
Theming Tumblr: Over the past couple of weeks I created a custom theme for Tumblr, which you can see here if you’re reading this post via the Tumblr Dashboard or RSS. The process was largely fun and easy. After many CMS integrations with multiple user-facing templates, it’s refreshing to work with Tumblr’s single-page approach. The Tumblr engine derives every page on a user’s tumblelog from a single XHTML+CSS template, vastly reducing not only the amount of work required to generate a custom theme, but also the quantity of repeated code (in particular compared to a default WordPress installation).

There’s No Place Like Home - Flickr Redesign: Yep, flickr is redesigning your homepage in the next few weeks. you can actually take a sneak peak at how it’ll eventually look like.
But what I liked most about this new thing about flickr is the ability to mute subsequent comments in the “comments you’ve made”. which is the feature I have always been longing for. Not all photos you have commented you want to follow further comments
Thanks flickr for these developments!
Check out this crook: A CONMAN who claims to be Jamaica’s top chess player has been ripping off Scots — claiming he needs cash to visit his dying dad.
And then what? How do we add comments? Good thing there’s tumblr.
Anyway, how was the conning resolved. Did the Scottish Sun just simply leave him alone to con more people? what kind of news???

That’s definitely “bull****!” Keep your articles by yourself. Shove it into your *** if you like.
yourchess.net: This is all you can offer? I can do it in netvibes instead. Or better yet, in Google Reader.

This reminds me, I should already finish the book, “Bobby Fischer Goes to War”.
Drastically Speed up your Linux System with Preload: Preload can provide a great improvement in application startup time; since most modern machines have a good deal of memory to spare, Preload puts this RAM to good use. I highly recommend installing Preload on your desktop machine, and although it may take a little while for the daemon to learn your habits before your see any real performance improvement, it’s a great tool that increases the speed of your system while staying in the background, out of your way.
I should really try this if it works. If it does, thank god. if not, at least we’ve tried.
Most Expensive WordPress Blog Ever Sold: alright! that site is down….
Wohoo! I can only dream of that figure! But if someone’s interested in my website even for only US$15,000, I’d not think twice to sell it at once! wohohoho!
I miss days like these.
So yes, finally I had a long weekend. Thanks to Eid. Some of my office pals went out of town/country, while I didn’t. I drafted some flexible plans confined within Abu Dhabi and Dubai. What did I do? Let’s check if your guess was right and [...]
